Inua Design is driven by the creativity of Douglas Rich. His talents are highly diverse and no subject or discipline is denied a voice. His personal philosophy and creative direction follows that of our ancient paleo ancestors. To be an artist you had to be able to create everything from shelter, weapons, tools and canoes to ceremonial objects. Patience, spirit & adornment were imbued into everything our ancestors created. Everything was considered art. Douglas also subscribes to another creative philosophy which relates to music. When someone loves a song the musician is secondary. The music does the talking. Douglas states, “If my work becomes part of your life, then it becomes your story.”

Douglas Rich is self-taught and self-made. He has often been referred to as a creative juggernaut. In addition to his body of work at Inua Design, he has designed fitness equipment, high speed aero boards, clothing lines, fashion accessories, luxury spa therapies, aides for the handicapped, logos, retail interiors & more. When Douglas steps away from creating, he recharges in remote areas of the American west. Supporting charities through his art, design & innovation has been a lifelong pursuit.
